Upcoming Music Fundraiser Event

SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Black Hills State University Choir is kicking off a creative new fundraiser this November with its “Music Calendar Challenge”, an initiative designed to help students raise funds for upcoming performances across South Dakota and an international tour in Europe.

The idea, brought forward by BHSU choir member Abby Studt, invites supporters to donate the same dollar amount as the date of the month. For example, a donor contributing on November 5 would give $5, while a donation on November 20 would be $20—and so on throughout the month.

The choir’s goal is to raise $25,000 to help offset travel expenses for both their South Dakota tour and the upcoming abroad trip to Europe, where students will share their musical talents on an international stage.
