#JACKETSGIVEBACK is now a 48-hour giving event, bringing together alumni, current students, faculty and staff, donors, friends, volunteers, and the community to support the Black Hills State University causes that matter most.
This year’s giving celebration will take place February 26–27, 2026.

It’s a celebration of giving back to what we care about, and because it’s collaborative, every Yellow Jacket can show their pride and make a difference.

How to Be a Giving Day Champion

• Send an email to your contacts asking for their support.

• Share the fundraiser website link.

• Participate in contests on February 26–27.

• Post on social media and share posts from BHSU Alumni & Advancement.

• Encourage your contacts to post and build excitement.

• Text jacketsgiveback to 71777 to donate.

• Become an Ambassador—help promote Jackets Giving Day and inspire others.

• Add the Giving Day logo and giving-page link to your email signature.
