Give to the Area of Study That Changed Your Life

Every life has a story.  Often that story includes a university professor or a subject area that sparked a lifelong career or special interest.  Your gift to one of our three Colleges or to a specific area of study will enhance the experiences of current and future students who may follow the same pathway that was so rewarding for you.

Learn more about our three Colleges and how your gift can be put to work for the students and professors active in the area of study that you remember so well.

Scholarships for Veterans

Once again in 2019 Black Hills State University was highly ranked as military friendly in a national survey.  BHSU creates a welcoming environment for students who are veterans. Among other initiatives, all current and active military personnel are offered reduced tuition of $246.35 per credit hour.  In concert with that commitment the BHSU Foundation holds a Scholarships for Veterans fundraising event, the Jacket Ride during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

However, you do not need to ride a Harley and wear leathers in the iconic Jacket Ride to support veterans at BHSU.  Just click on Donate Now and specify that your gift should be directed to Scholarships for Veterans.  Combined with funds raised during the Jacket Ride your donation will provide vital financial support to those who have served our country in the military and are now seeking new opportunities through education at BHSU.
