BH Blitz

SPEARFISH, S.D. – Black Hills State University alumni, students, and supporters came together in a strong show of school spirit during the annual Black Hills Blitz, held in conjunction with the BHSU vs. South Dakota Mines rivalry football game.

This year’s Blitz brought together Yellow Jackets from near and far to celebrate the pride and tradition of BHSU while supporting student success through giving. The friendly Giving Challenge between BHSU and SD Mines sparked excitement across both campuses.

While the Hardrockers ultimately topped the challenge with 99 donors, the Yellow Jackets rallied an impressive 12 dedicated supporters who showed their pride by giving back to the university. Each contribution directly supports scholarships, academic programs, and campus experiences that shape future generations of Yellow Jackets.

BHSU looks forward to building on the momentum next year, with the goal of growing both participation and impact during the next Black Hills Blitz.
