The sponsored by First Interstate Bank set new attendance and fundraising records at the university. Two hundred and sixty people attended the event on August 24 securing over $160,000 in scholarship funds for the university. The night started with a brief program honoring the title sponsor First Interstate Bank for their $10,000 gift and the 2018 Difference Maker Award recipients, the Lantis Family. BHSU student and scholarship recipient, Liz Luke, greeted and thanked the supporters on behalf of all of the scholarship recipients at BHSU. Dinner was served followed by an auction which featured a live drive that netted $50,000 and a 1948 Willys Jeepster donated by Mary Furois capturing $25,500.
