About the event
The Annual Mark Larscheid Memorial Golf Tournament was held at Spearfish Canyon Golf Club on July 5th. The tournament is held in memory of Mark Larscheid, a Black Hills State alumnus, athlete, and student. Larscheid lost his life in an automobile accident in 2000. He was a hurdler at BHSU from 1969-1973 and also played football.
