Pierre S.D. - Forty six people participated in the 2020 BHSU Golf and Fish Outing at Sutton Bay August 17-19 raising a record $454,727. The event has raised $1,865,727 for athletic scholarships since the inaugural event in 2014. Steve Meeker, Vice President of University Advancement said "I can’t thank the supporters enough." "The thank you’s begin with Dana Dykhouse," said Meeker. "Dana is our host and he pays all of our expenses and also matches up to $150,000 what is raised. We also have an anonymous donor that matches up to $150,000 what is raised. We were able to raise $154,727 from the participants and with the two matches we raised over $454,000. Everyone had a great time and we’re already looking forward to next year’s event scheduled for August 16-18, 2021," he added.
