2020 BHSU Comeback Extravaganza
On August 22, 2020, Black Hills State University will be hosting the BHSU Comeback Extravaganza at Lyle Hare Stadium. Social hour will begin at six with the dinner/raffle and auction starting at seven p.m.
The 6th Annual Scholarship Gala and the previously postponed 4th Annual Gold Rush Raffle & Auction will join together to make one great evening of fun while raising scholarship dollars. The night will take on more of a “pep rally” theme where we will all celebrate our BHSU pride. There will be the same elements of the Scholarship Gala, but will now include the Reverse Raffle (*Chance to win $5,000 that the Gold Rush Raffle typically offers). This is a great opportunity to interact with and get to know scholarship recipients. This celebration hopes to aid in coming back together from recent events stronger as a community.
For event details, here are some below:
Attendees can purchase a whole table for $1000 – table of 8 (Includes dinner with wine and Reverse Raffle Ticket) $750 – table of 6
Single Event Tickets cost $125 (Includes dinner with wine and Reverse Raffle Ticket)
If you are still interested in the raffle but do not plan on joining us for the Extravaganza, you can purchase a $50 Reverse Raffle Ticket and the option to attend the Facebook Live Event Experience.
To join us only via Facebook Live, the cost is $50 for the invitation link. (Includes a Reverse Raffle Ticket)
Auction bidding is free through the online app! (*No prior purchase necessary)
Last year, the Gold Rush Raffle & Auction was a record year, netting over $47,000 for student-athlete scholarships. Also, in addition the 2019 Gala fundraiser raised a record $164,000 for student scholarships. We are so thankful for your contributions, continued support, and loyalty to the BHSU Family. BHSU and the Spearfish community hope that we can return to somewhat normalcy for the upcoming year. We anticipate that this event will be the spark we need to assist in “Returning to Normal”. We hope to see you all there. Don’t forget to mark your calendars.
All CDC guidelines and social distancing protocols will be followed.
